STUDIO CLEANOUT MEGA ART SALE

It's that time again.. cleaning out my studio and selling off piles of artwork old and new for CHEAP. I've got leftover stuff from my 1026 Show, plenty of hot dog and food paintings... ancient Philadelphia Weekly Steven Wells illos, etc etc etc. Get it now while the getting's good. If you want a bunch of stuff email me (hawkkrall @ gmail dot com) about discounts on shipping or whatever.

Check out everything that's up for sale at  hawkkrall.net or scroll down to see some featured items-

Martin Starr as Roman from Party Down, aka the last TV show I actually laughed at. There's also one of Ron Donald, the manager who's dream was opening a "Soup or Crackers" franchise. 30 bucks.

Wild "frankenburger" illustration I did for a "best burgers" article in Cincinnati Magazine a while back. $225

One of several from Steven Wells' On The Radar column I have available. This one was something about Americans secretly wanting to be spanked and berated by their British superiors aka Gordon Ramsay. I illustrated Wells' Philadelphia Weekly column for years so I have tons more if there's any Swells historians out there. Most under $100.

Dolph Lungren as the Punisher from the terribly awesome 1989 movie, for Shepard Fairey's Swindle Magazine. This was in the now super rare (50 bucks on ebay!) Issue #8 with Banksy stuff on the cover. 100 bucks.

Ultra obscure hawk krall hot dog art, for a Brazilian "internationally themed" hot dog restaurant that never got off the ground. $150.

From the same Brazilian hot dog job. $50

Darryl from Storage Wars! Marked down to $125 along with similar portraits of Jarrod & Dave Hester.

Punk rock ice cream! For Seattle Stranger. $39.

And TONS more. Check them out here: hawkkrall.net/store

NEW PRINTS!! Free magnets with every order & free shipping on sets of 4!

TONS of new hot dog (and burger) prints in my store, including some new & exciting stuff like the giant 24" tall burger print and a whole bunch of more affordable (16 bucks a pop), smaller 8" x 10" prints. These are all high quality giclee prints done by the fine folks at Silicon Gallery Fine Art Prints in Philadelphia. They seriously look almost better than the original paintings.

I'll be shipping FREE sets of five hot dog magnets (ten for big orders) with every order from now until they run out! I have a LOT, they probably won't run out. Selection will be random but if you let me know which you prefer, I'll send it if I have it.

Also for the month of December I'm offering FREE SHIPPING on orders for a set of 4 11 x 14 prints. ($100 even). You can also mix & match and do three 11 x 14 prints and two 8 x 10 prints (or 2 big ones and 4 small ones) for the same price. Order here:

Skeeter's is an awesome general store / restaurant in Wytheville Virginia. Glass bottles of coke and famous chili slaw dogs. Also pretty decent pulled pork sandwich.

Ecuador has awesome hot dogs covered in crazy sauces. A set of four with the Torta Salchicha, Perro Caliente and Tijuana Dog prints would make an awesome "Latin American" collection.

Crazy 2 foot tall exploding burger Illustration I did for Cincinnati Magazine a couple years ago about the city's best burgers.

AWESOME Polish Boy / Barbecue spot in Cleveland.

One of the first paintings I did for hot dog of the week.. Flo's famous red shack on Route 1 in Maine.

Awesome mini-chain in South Carolina serving up beautiful all beef dogs topped with pimento cheese on "top split buns" that are all over the south (not just New England!).

Amazing German butcher shop / grocery n Portland that makes their own hot dogs and sausages, and serves them outside right off the grill.

Crazy variation on the Flint Coney which is already a variation of the Detroit Coney (or vice versa, if you're from Flint Michigan). Koegel's natural casing dog, chili, mustard and onions on a hard taco shell! The regular coneys are great too, and Angelo's is an amazing place.

Famous Lunch in Troy, NY serves up tiny hot dogs for something like 65 cents each. Buried under their famous "Zippy Sauce" and onions. Also terrific rice pudding.

Hot Dog Stickers

Just got these in the mail. Awesome extra-thick vinyl stickers from stickermule.com. They also do die-cut stickers for pretty cheap!

Dunno what I'm gonna do with 300 neon yellow hot dog stickers now... Probably throw a few in with every hot dog print order from now until they run out.

New Hot Dog Prints!

Rolf's Pork Store
Mind blowing traditional German sausage shop in the middle of Albany. Hand made frankfurters, kielbasa, ring bologna, everything smoked in house. Amazing.

Yesterdog
Super cool hot dog place in Grand Rapids, Michigan that's been there since the 70's. No burgers and trying to order a "plain hot dog" might get you kicked out. Big thanks to photographer Mike Donk for tipping me off and sending awesome photos.

Blackie's
Old School Connecticut hot dog joint, one of many featured in the documentary A Connecticut Hot Dog Tour. Blackie's will also be selling these prints at the restaurant in a few weeks!

Fricano's Deli
Awesome sandwich spot in Austin, Texas. Great sandwiches and a bunch of signature dogs including Chicago style and the Reuben Dog. They also do specials every once in a while like a pretty damn authentic Venezuelan Dog. The Reuben dog as well as a few of my other prints are available for sale at the Deli itself, thanks guys! My buddy Garrett Morlan has also done some awesome posters for them, which I'm fairly sure are also available to purchase.

All of these and more are available at hawkkrall.net.

2010 Hot Dog Illustration Madness

Here's a bunch of hot dog related illustration I did in 2010 and haven't posted yet, including a poster for Farmer John (a Los Angeles meat company), a bunch of paintings for Fig Restaurant in Santa Monica (for their special summer hot dog menu) and some illustrations I was working on for an international hot dog place in South America (a project that sadly seems to have kicked the bucket).

These paintings were all meant for a hot dog restaurant in Brazil that never opened. The idea was international hot dogs with insane toppings, think Hot Doug's or Bark but riffing on European and South American hot dog styles rather than American. I had to translate everything to Portuguese which was pretty awesome. Really sad that this didn't work out- there was going to be 10 different dogs plus 10 smaller illos of the regions for packaging or whatever.
